Mommy After Midnight

What mommies do after everyone else has gone to bed.

About

Mommy After Midnight was inspired by a late night, just after midnight, when I laid my newborn son down in his cradle. I wasn’t tired, an was suddenly excited that I had time (and hands!) to work on some projects that had been neglected since giving birth. Even though I only worked for thirty minutes before I decided to go to bed myself, I was amazed how much better I felt.

It’s easy to get overwhelmed with taking care of a tiny human – or tiny humans – that us moms forget to make time for things that we enjoyed doing before we adopted our new roles in life. My hope in writing this blogazine is that it will remind you that just because you are a mom now doesn’t mean you can’t still take time for you … even if that means staying up a little past midnight for that “me” time.
